Romgaz (https://www.romgaz.ro/) is the largest producer and supplier of natural gas in Romania and one of the largest in South-Eastern Europe. Founded in 1909, the company has extensive experience in the field of natural gas exploration and production, its history beginning more than 100 years ago, when the first natural gas deposit was discovered in the Transylvanian Basin at Sarmasel. The Company’s activities comprise the designing and installation of solar, thermal, photovoltaic and wind energy plants. The Company’s business is structured in three areas: Photovoltaic and Thermal Panels division, which is engaged in the development, production and sale of the solar panels. Investments in the fund are made through an investment account on the stock exchange, through SSIF Tradeville, or through an intermediary authorized to trade on the BVB (Société Générale de Belgique), using a procedure similar to that for purchasing listed shares or bonds.   Dividends received by the fund from the issuers of the portfolio shares are reinvested and contribute to performance. The fund does not pay tax on dividends received.

  The Patria Energy ETF – Tradeville is managed by SAI Patria Asset Management, a member company of the Patria Bank group. SSIF Tradeville SA is an authorized participant and market maker of the fund, and the fund's depository is BRD – Groupe Société Générale.

  What is an Exchange-Traded Fund?
  Exchange-traded funds are open-ended investment funds that, in accordance with local regulations, aim to replicate the structure and performance of an index as closely as possible. The difference between the exchange-traded price of the fund unit and the NAV is much smaller than with other closed-end funds, both due to the presence of a market maker (SSIF Tradeville) and the special subscription and redemption mechanism. The trading symbol for the exchange-traded fund is PTENGETF.

  What is the BET-NG index?
  BET-NG is an index developed by the Stock Exchange and represents the benchmark index of the local capital market for the energy sector and related utilities. BET-NG is calculated as a weighted average of the prices of the constituent shares and reflects the performance of the most traded companies on the BVB regulated market in this sector. The calculation method is a price index weighted by the capitalization of the free float percentage. The composition and structure of the index are reviewed quarterly and as needed by the BVB Index Committee.

  The BET-NG index, used as the underlying asset by the ETF Energie Patria-Tradeville, is a stock index calculated and published by the Bucharest Stock Exchange (hereinafter BVB), and the name of the BET-NG index is protected as a registered trademark belonging to BVB.
