COMPANY ACTIVITIES
The company's mission is to supply raw materials, industrialize, store, preserve, and market milk, dairy and supplemental products, and ice cream, providing services to third parties, and engaging in import-export activities. Its core business is the production of dairy and cheese products, primarily consisting of drinking milk, fresh produce, butter, ice cream, powdered milk, cream, and cheeses (fresh cow's cheese, cow's cheese, bellows cheese, and cheese).

The company owns a dairy and ice cream factory in the municipality of Șcheia, Suceava County, and a factory for powdered milk, butter, and cheeses in the city of Fălticeni, Suceava County. The milk (raw material) is supplied by local producers and authorized farms in Suceava, Botoșani, and Neamț counties.

The collected milk is processed in modern facilities; Over the past three years, the company has invested in purchasing technical equipment and modernizing existing assets.

The company pays particular attention to maintaining and improving the quality of its cow's milk products, which are highly valued by consumers. The company uses only natural cow's milk and does not use substitutes in its preparations.

BUCOVINA SA has specialized vehicles for transporting dairy products and ice cream, allowing it to deliver its products to any location.

Overhead Power Line Inspection by Drone

The inspection of overhead power lines, whether medium or high voltage, is essential to ensure the reliability of the electricity distribution and transmission network.

Drones now offer an efficient solution for inspecting power lines and electricity transmission pylons. Equipped with high-definition optical cameras and thermal sensors, our drones enable precise diagnostics to be carried out safely.

Thanks to these technologies, grid operators can:

  • Detect faults invisible to the naked eye
  • Monitor the structural condition of pylons and paint corrosion
  • Observe vegetation near the lines
  • Plan preventive or corrective maintenance interventions

Drone-Based Installation of DLR Sensors

Our LineDrone, specially designed to operate safely on live high-voltage power lines, is redefining the standards of intelligent power grid inspection.

Thanks to its advanced technology, it enables the installation of DLR (Dynamic Line Rating) sensors directly onto conductors—without power interruption or ground-based human intervention.

This innovative process significantly reduces operational costs and supports the modernisation of electrical infrastructure, paving the way for more efficient and predictive grid management.

  • Lower installation costs
  • Reduced intervention time
  • Enhanced technician safety
  • Deployment on live lines

Power Line Stringing by Drone

Thanks to drones, high-voltage power lines can be strung from one transmission pylon to another in a safer, faster, and more cost-effective way than traditional methods such as helicopters or manual stringing. Energy sector companies can now reduce operational costs and save time by stringing power lines with drones.

How does it work?
The drone carries an ultra-lightweight, thin, and highly resistant pilot line. This guide cable is laid across the transmission tower to reach the ground team, who will then install the final conductor.
This drone-based method reduces both human and material risks compared to traditional approaches like helicopters or pylon climbing by operators.

  • Avoids human risks
  • Reduces operational costs
  • Fast deployment
